Lara has Retired

Today is one of the most disappointing days in Modern Cricket history. The prince from Trinidad,Brian Charles Lara has retired form international cricket. In an emotional farewell to one of the most brilliant batsmen in the world, around 28,000 spectators had arrived to see their hero one last time.It is hard to imagine watching a West-Indies match without Lara. He has broken all the records he possibly could and has the unique distinction of being only player in history of Cricket to have scored 400 and a 500 runs. He has been a rebel, fought endlessly with his Cricket board, has had rifts with the likes of Sir Richards and Micheal Holding, had temporarily quit the sport, but if there is one thing he has not lost;that is his unbelievable talent. He will be truly remembered as a batting genius, who could win very less trophies for he was a part of West-Indies team which was highly unpredictable with average cricketers. Lara has retired but his legend will remain forever. LONG LIVE THE KING LARA
